As part of ECA's aim to increase the number of ECA Members who meet ‘Safety Schemes in Procurement’ (core) health and safety criteria, exclusive discounts are available via the Contractors' Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS).
If your business is not already assessed by another pre-qualification scheme ECA will cover the cost of one first-time SSIP assessment.
Subsequent assessments for ECA Members are also available at special discounted rates, when done via CHAS accreditation.
ECA has also negotiated a range of other discounts.
CCS is most well known for its site-based monitoring scheme and the 'Considerate Constructor' hoardings, but it also has a company scheme, aimed at main and lower tier contractors. Some Registered Members may find CCS registration is helpful in pre-qualification and wider stakeholder engagement.

The Joint Industry Board (JIB) sets the standards for employment, welfare, grading and apprentice training in the electrical contracting industry.
For ECA Members, the JIB joining fee is waived, saving Members £100s in company and per operative fees. The benefits of joining the JIB complement the services provided by ECA and help you to protect your most valuable asset - your employees.
